Cinnamon Breakfast Bread Buns

Yummy treat to go with a cup of hot coffee or tea, as well as, a great “make and take” treat.  Delicious and holds up well to travelling.

Using ONLY Pepperidge Farm Thin White
bread, family size/2 lbs cut crusts off sides & then roll each slice diagonally corner to corner until very thin, and slice looks like dough)
Next, Cream together:
1 eight oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
Splash of vanilla

Next, spread one side of rolled bread slice with cheesecake mixture; and then roll up corner to corner, jellyroll style, creating your bread bun.  Repeat with each slice.

Next, melt 3 sticks of butter & put in shallow bowl. Set aside

Next, blend 2 cups sugar with cinnamon, to your taste preference, and place in another shallow bowl/plate.

Next, quickly dip each bread bun in butter & then in cinnamon/sugar mixture, coating completely.

Next, place the cinnamon-sugar coated bread buns on a cookie sheet or cake pan and bake in pre-heated 350 degree F oven for 15 minutes or until desired color & crispness.

Serve with Mock Devonshire Cream Dip (half whipped heavy cream & half sour cream).
