Summer Breakfast Fruit Topping

excellent over confectioner’s sugar dusted Belgium Waffles or Challah French Toast
Ingredients:

1/2 cup kumquat marmalade
(can substitute orange marmalade)
1 can mandarin oranges (and syrup)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 nectarines, sliced
1 pint strawberries, stems removed and vertically halved
1 cup green seedless grapes
1 cup ripe cantalope, cut into chunks
1 cup ripe honeydew melon, cut into chunks
1 cup ripe mangoes, cut into chunks

Combine kumquat marmalade, mandarin orange syrup and vanilla in a bowl, set aside.
Lightly toss fruits in a serving bowl.
Drizzle fruit in bowl with kumquat marmalade mixture.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least a half hour before serving.
