There’s always something new to learn; this is today’s factoid from my friend, Robin….
Now that we know which peppers are sweeter….
Southwestern Ranch Dip with Sweet Pepper Scoops
-1 cup sour cream
-1 cup mayo
-grated onion with the juice, to taste, (start with 1/2 teaspoon)
-1 tsp dried dill weed
-1 tsp Spice Island’s Beau Monde
-1 1/2 tsp taco seasoning
-1 tsp red Serrano chile pepper, minced (or ripe, red jalapeño for less heat)
-a few green peppers (girls only, please:)
Blend together the sour cream, mayo, grated onion with the juice, dried dill weed, Beau Monde seasoning, taco seasoning and minced chile peppers until the ingredients are well mixed. Chill dip for several hours.
Serve with female/4 bump green peppers “scoops” (cut peppers in half and then again into bite-size scoops)
