-Every nation has their own “comfort foods”, this one is from Poland and it is delicious...

1/2 pound Kielbasa, diced
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup onion, thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves, chopped
8 cups cabbage, shredded
1 pound bow tie pasta, cooked
al dente
Salt and pepper to taste

Fry up Kielbasa and onions with butter and garlic in a large deep skillet until onions start to caramelize.
Add shredded cabbage, stir to combine and continue to cook in a covered skillet until cabbage is tender, adding water, as needed, to keep cabbage from browning too much as it cooks.
Add cooked bow tie pasta and season with salt and pepper.

  1. There’s a place in Pennsylvania off I 80 that serves something very close to this called by the same name, they use crumbled sausage instead of kielbasa.. I go there just to order that sometimes.. Bet the kielbasa is just as good 😊
