Food52 is a food blog I’ve enjoyed for quite a while.  For some reason this posting is making be salivate….I can smell the onions, cheese and butter…

  1. I never would have considered mayo, but I have used bacon grease. You know how butter makes the bread be more like toast? Well, bacon grease creates a thin, delicate layer of crisp and leaves the bread to be BREAD. It’s sooo much more interesting. And tasty.
