Cee’s Oddball Photo Challenge: 2016 Week 47

In The Florida Keys it isn’t always easy to tell when Christmastime is near but, there are a few telltale signs.  One sign is those annoying little no-see-ums (a.k.a. biting midges) are gone.  My favorite first signs of the season are red berries hanging from the palm trees and the bougainvillea come into full bloom which all help make our tropical garden look very festive.  Even the Miss Muffett caladiums are prettiest this time of year…

  1. Thank You, Osyth!
Outside being away from family, Christmastime here was probably the biggest adjustment to living in Key West since I was & still am very much a fan of a holly-and-the-ivy type of a Christmas season with its glistening snow outside while inside sipping hot chocolate in front of a roaring fireplace. However, after four years I’ve become a fan of both. Just a lovely time of year wherever you call home. ☮️🌏🌍🌎❤️
