Not really all that much other than working and trying to make sense of the senseless paths the world seems bent to travel down..
I’m just getting over a particularly nasty bug that’s been with me for two week’s..
Yesterday after watching politicians, reporters and talking heads go thru their daily insanity, I turned off the noise.. And tuned in, so to speak, to my gallery.. I watched a video of photos I took from Oct. to last month.. I make these shorts to keep an album of my progess on my, not so Cob cabin.. It was going to be made of Cob, crafted by my hands.. The sandy foundation the concrete slab was put on, dictates that Cob would not be a good choice (It was like that when I bought it).. But there’s other durable materials for the charm I want it to have, just a different style 😉
What I found so valuable in watching the video, is that it doesn’t involve work of any kind.. Just pure appreciation of my surroundings.. Beautiful striking color and shapes that no human crafted.. All natural and organic.. I remembered when I took each pic and the feeling of freedom from worries of present or future things.. I was in the “be-zone” where just “being” is the purpose.. And is fulfilment, as a witness for appreciation..
I hope you enjoy the short clip and can feel some of that come through the video ☺
Special thanks to my sis munchkin, for being the true blogger of this duo 💛 Your posts and pictures are awesome.. The Keys may be a terrific canvas for the camera, but you have an eye for capturing moments and feeling 😊
